Definitions:
piping:
assemblies of piping components used…[for] fluid flows. Piping also includes pipe supporting elements, but does not include support structures…or equipment…
piping system:
interconnected piping subject to the same design conditions
piping components:
mechanical elements suitable for joining or assembly into pressure tight fluid-containing piping systems include
piping components includes:
- Pipe & tube
- Fittings (e.g. elbows, reducers, branch, connections, flanges, etc.)
- gaskets, bolting
- valves
- Pipe support
- Special items such as expansion joints…
Piping components: pipe & tube classification
Pipe classification:
- Iron pipe size (approximate internal dia.)

Hi,
ReplyDeleteWont seem to allow you to download this presentation?
Thanks
I have not placed any restriction. It's Google who isn't letting it. I'll change the embed code.
ReplyDeleteHi Ankit,
ReplyDeleteThat seems to have done the trick. Much appreciated
Thanks
Welcome :)
ReplyDeleteThe tutorials of piping design systems & components is helpful. Piping system requires lot of work and attention. The work should be accurate at the same time. Components of the pipes is also considered.
ReplyDeleteSome more useful info shared at http://www.chemionix.com/
Hello Ankit , Thanks for the presentation. No words for your efforts. Thanks
